Our mission is to organize private providers in the disability community to be a powerful voice for political, economic and social change in Kentucky.
It is the mission of the Division of Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities (DDID) to empower each person to realize his or her place in the community as a citizen of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. To accomplish this mission, DDID will partner with and support persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities, families, advocates, stakeholders and government agencies.
The Arc of Kentucky holds a vision of a positive future for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities; a future of communities with services and supports that will promote lives of value for Kentuckians with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The Supports for Community Living (SCL) waiver is part of Kentucky's 1915(c) HCBS Medicaid waiver program. SCL provides assistance to individuals with an intellectual or developmental disability to help them live in the community as independently as possible.
The Michelle P. Waiver (MPW) is part of Kentucky's 1915(c) HCBS Medicaid waiver program. MPW provides assistance to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities to help them live in the community as independently as possible.
Kentucky Medicaid is a state and federal program authorized by Title XIX of the Social Security Act to provide health care for eligible low-income residents including children, families, pregnant women, the aged and the disabled.
